Throuhout the summer of 2010 The Waspman will be removing wasps nests throughout Urmston, Flixton, Trafford, Stretford , Sale, Altrincham and Stockport, Cheadle for a fixed fee of thirty-two pounds.

The Waspman are available 7 days per week including weekends and evenings and do not charge extra for evening and weekend call outs.

Wasps nests can usually be dealt with from the exterior of the premises by blowing a small amount of insecticide into the opening using a special device.

It is necessary to get a wasps’ nest treated before autumn when the new queens which will build next year’s nests start to be produced. Once this starts simply destoying the nest will not deal with these wasp queens as they are no longer going back to the nest. A single wasps nest can release up to 2000 queens.

In the summer we give priority to wasps’ nest calls as we are aware that many people react badly to wasps stings and it is important to remove the nest as with the utmost urgency. We do our very best to provide a rapid same day service but this is clearly constrained by how much work we have on.

It is not necessary to remove the wasp nest itself as it can’t be used again and, being built from purely of a paper like material it will eventually crumble away by itself.
